Hope & Strength Coaching
Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use this website and enquire about coaching.
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Draft for review — not yet legally binding. This document is a starting point written to be edited. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. Before publishing, have a licensed attorney in your state review it — particularly the sections on health information, scope of practice, cancellation and refunds, and limitation of liability. Anything in [square brackets] needs a real value filled in.
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Hope & Strength Coaching website and any enquiry you submit through it. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Coaching services themselves are governed by the Coaching Agreement, which you will receive and sign before coaching begins. Where the two documents differ regarding coaching services, the Coaching Agreement controls.
What we offer
Hope & Strength Coaching provides education, encouragement, accountability, and practical wellness support for people navigating cancer, survivorship and caregiving. Services may include complimentary consultations, one-to-one coaching sessions, workbooks, reflection tools, trackers, and resource recommendations.
Coaching is not medical or mental health care
Coaching does not diagnose or treat any condition. Vineca Allen-Hodge is a licensed Radiation Therapist, but she does not act in a clinical or licensed capacity when providing coaching. Coaching does not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions, prescribe or adjust medication, interpret test results, alter any treatment plan, or replace care from your oncologist, physician, dietitian, therapist or other licensed professional.
Always consult your medical team before making changes to your care, medication, diet or exercise. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency service.
Full details are in the Medical & Coaching Disclaimer.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this website and to receive coaching services.
Consultations, booking and fit
The complimentary consultation is a private conversation of approximately 30–45 minutes with no obligation on either side. Its purpose is to understand what you are looking for and to decide together whether coaching is an appropriate fit.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a coaching relationship. A coaching relationship begins only when a Coaching Agreement is signed and any required payment is made.
We may decline to begin or continue coaching where your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, where a licensed professional would be more appropriate, or where continuing would not be safe or suitable. In that case we will say so and, where we can, suggest other directions.

You may stop using the website at any time; ending a coaching engagement is covered by the Coaching Agreement.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [ADD COUNTY] County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
